Terms of service

These terms govern your use of FSBO Connect, operated by Built By Prism inc. Using the product means you accept them. They are short on purpose.
The licence
A licence is granted per agent. It is personal to you, is not transferable, and may not be shared between people — one seat, one broker. You may use the product for your own prospecting for as long as your licence is active. You may not resell it, sublicense it, or run it as a service for others.
Your account
Keep your credentials to yourself and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used them. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend an account that is being shared, or one being used in a way that puts the service or other customers at risk.
How you may use it
FSBO Connect surfaces publicly advertised listings and helps you organise calls to their owners. You must obey the law that applies to you when you make those calls, including telemarketing rules, the National Do Not Call List, and the rules of your professional order. The product screens against the DNCL as a safeguard; that safeguard does not transfer the legal obligation to us.
What you may not do
Do not extract the listing database wholesale, resell the data, feed it to another product, or use automated dialling against it. Do not attempt to reach data belonging to another account or another team. Do not use the product to harass anyone.
Accuracy of listing data
Listings are collected from third-party advertisements and are provided as they were found. They can be stale, incomplete or wrong, and a property can be sold or withdrawn before we see the change. Verify anything you are going to rely on before you rely on it. Lead scores are an estimate produced by software, not a judgement about a person.
Not professional advice
FSBO Connect is a prospecting tool. Nothing in it is legal advice, valuation advice, or advice about how to conduct a real-estate transaction, and it does not substitute for your own professional judgement or your obligations as a licensed broker.
Availability
We work to keep the service running and the morning sweep on time, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider outages and problems at the sites we read listings from can all interrupt it.
Fees and ending the agreement
Licences are sold per agent on the terms agreed at purchase. You may stop using the product at any time and ask us to close your account. We may end a licence for a material breach of these terms, and we will tell you why.
Limits
The product is provided as-is. To the extent the law permits, Built By Prism inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost business or lost commission, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the licence in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Quebec have jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
If we change them, the date at the top of this page changes with it, and material changes will be announced in the product rather than made quietly.

Write to us and a person will answer. For anything about your own data — a copy of it, a correction, or its deletion — say so plainly in the subject line and we will treat it as a formal request.
