FSBO Connect is operated by Built By Prism inc. This policy describes what the service collects, why it collects it, where it is kept and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Who is responsible

Built By Prism inc. operates FSBO Connect and is the enterprise responsible for the personal information described here. Questions, access requests and complaints all go to the address at the bottom of this page.

What you give us

An email address and a password, or a Google account if you sign in that way. A display name and, if you set one, your brokerage's name, logo and colours. The licence key that activates your seat. If you join a team, your membership in it.

What Google sign-in shares

If you choose «Continue with Google», Google gives us your email address, your name, your profile picture and a stable account identifier. Nothing more. We ask for no access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts or Calendar, and we never receive your Google password. You can stop using Google sign-in at any time and set a password instead.

What the product records as you work

Calls you log and their outcomes, notes you write, follow-ups you schedule, call scripts you save, goals you set, and which listings you have saved, rated or marked closed. This is your working record. Within a team, a colleague may see work assigned to them; nobody outside your team sees any of it.

Listing information

The listings in FSBO Connect come from for-sale-by-owner advertisements that their owners have published publicly, including the address, the asking price, changes to that price and how long the property has been listed. We collect it from public pages at a deliberately slow rate. We do not buy personal information from data brokers, and we do not enrich these records with anything the owner did not publish themselves.

Do Not Call screening

Numbers registered on Canada's National Do Not Call List are screened before a number can be dialled from the product, and blocked ones are shown as mail-only. If you record an existing business relationship that permits a call, that override is stored with your account so the reason is auditable later. Screening is a feature of the software; the legal obligation to comply remains yours.

Where it is kept

In a PostgreSQL database operated by Supabase on infrastructure provisioned through Lovable Cloud. Access is enforced row by row, so a query made by your account can only return your own rows and those of a team you belong to. Some of your working record is also cached in your browser's local storage so the app is usable during a brief loss of connection; signing out clears it.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. It is processed on our behalf by our hosting and database provider, by Google if you use Google sign-in, and by our email provider when the product emails you. We disclose information to anyone else only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Your account and your working record are kept while your seat is active, and then for a reasonable period afterwards so that a licence can be reinstated without losing your history. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will. Listing information is kept as a history on purpose — a pattern of price cuts months old is the signal the product exists to show.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent to a use you previously agreed to. Write to us and we will respond within thirty days. If you are in Quebec and you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are never stored in a form we can read. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it to run the service. No system is perfect, and we will tell affected users promptly if a breach creates a real risk of serious injury.

Changes to this policy

If we change it, the date at the top of this page changes with it. If a change materially affects how your information is used, we will tell you in the product rather than quietly editing this page.

Questions

Write to us and a person will answer. For anything about your own data — a copy of it, a correction, or its deletion — say so plainly in the subject line and we will treat it as a formal request.
