Get FSBO Connect

One account, four ways to run it. Windows has a desktop installer; on a Mac, an iPhone, an iPad or an Android phone you install it straight from the browser and it behaves like any other app. The download is free — the app asks for a licence key on first launch and will not open without one.

Windows 10 and 11

Desktop installer

A standard installer. It creates a Start-menu entry and a desktop shortcut, and keeps you signed in between sessions.

Windows will warn you the first time

The installer is not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen shows a blue “Windows protected your PC” panel. Choose More info, then Run anyway. If you want to be certain the file is ours, check its SHA-256 against the one below first.

iPhone and iPad

Add FSBO Connect to your Home Screen

There is no App Store download, and you do not need one. Safari installs this site as a real app — its own icon on the Home Screen, its own full-screen window, no tabs and no address bar. It updates itself whenever we ship, so there is never a new version to install.

Safari

Safari is the only browser on iPhone and iPad that can install an app.

  1. Open fsboconnect.ca in Safari and sign in, so the app opens straight into your listings.
  2. Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up, in the bar at the bottom of the screen on iPhone, or at the top right on iPad.
  3. Scroll the list and tap Add to Home Screen. If it is not there, tap Edit Actions… at the bottom and add it.
  4. Check the name, then tap Add. FSBO Connect is now on your Home Screen and in Spotlight — open it like any other app.

Only Safari can do this on an iPhone

Chrome, Edge and Firefox on iOS are all Safari underneath, but Apple gives only Safari itself the «Add to Home Screen» command. If you are reading this in another browser, open «fsboconnect.ca» in Safari first — the four steps above take about twenty seconds.

Updates

Automatic. The app is the site, so you are always on the current version — nothing to fetch from the App Store and nothing to approve.

Offline

The app opens without a connection and says so plainly, but listings and call history need the network.

Removing it

Touch and hold the icon on the Home Screen, then «Remove App › Delete App», the same as any other app.

Android

Install FSBO Connect from Chrome

There is no Play Store download, and you do not need one. Chrome installs this site as a real app — its own icon in the app drawer, its own full-screen window, no tabs and no address bar. It updates itself whenever we ship.

Chrome

Edge, Brave and Samsung Internet work the same way; only the menu wording differs.

  1. Open fsboconnect.ca in Chrome and sign in, so the app opens straight into your listings.
  2. Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.
  3. Choose Add to Home screen, then confirm Install. Older versions of Chrome say Install app instead.
  4. FSBO Connect is now in your app drawer and on your Home screen — open it like any other app.

Firefox

Firefox for Android installs sites too, with different wording.

  1. Open fsboconnect.ca in Firefox and sign in.
  2. Tap the ⋮ menu, then Add to Home screen.
  3. Confirm Add. The app appears on your Home screen.

macOS

There is no Mac installer, and you do not need one. Safari and Chrome can both install this site as a real application — its own icon, its own window, no tabs and no address bar. It updates itself whenever we ship, so there is never a new version to download.

Safari

macOS Sonoma (14) or later. This is the path Apple built.

  1. Open fsboconnect.ca in Safari and sign in, so the app opens straight into your listings.
  2. In the menu bar, choose File › Add to Dock. The Share button in the toolbar has the same command.
  3. Check the name and the icon, then click Add.
  4. FSBO Connect is now in your Dock, in Launchpad and in Spotlight — open it like any other Mac app.

Chrome or Edge

Any recent version. Use this if you are not on Sonoma yet.

  1. Open fsboconnect.ca in Chrome and sign in.
  2. Click the install icon at the right-hand end of the address bar — a small screen with a downward arrow.
  3. No icon there? Open the ⋮ menu and choose Save and share › Install page as app….
  4. Confirm Install. The app opens in its own window and appears in Launchpad and in your Applications folder.

Removing it

Safari: right-click the Dock icon, then Options › Remove from Dock. Chrome: open chrome://apps, right-click FSBO Connect, then Remove.
